Summer of 2020, The Sonoma County Pollinators Treasure Hunt was selected for installation in Downtown Santa Rosa. Work was completed in Oct 2020. When installed, viewers could travel the length of the main street by following place-specific clues, and discover a range of Sonoma County’s native pollinating species along the way.

This project spotlighted native, mostly-invertebrate pollinators present in the county from the ubiquitous Horsefly-like Carpenter bee, Xylacopa tabaniformis, to the California endemic, highly-niche-restricted Andrena blennospermatis.
